As an athlete - every ‘little’ thing counts, it all adds up and it can be the difference between winning possession (or the race) or not.
The difference a little extra absorption on each landing can make in the recovery from each game and durability across a career. The difference a rotation of the leg can create in speed and power generation, leading to winning more contests and allowing more efficient movement of the whole body, allowing you to run out games better and maintain your focus when the heat gets turned up.
Yes, the position of your hips - the tilt, the engagement, the connection, in relation to your ribcage, the control in relation to the foot strike and the angle of force......that counts.
What you are thinking about when you take off for that first contest counts, the intensity you are thinking about it counts, how you are feeling about yourself at that moment counts.

Methodology Developed and Coached By Athletes for Performance on Game Day, Not Just in the Gym.
We are not gym or fitness people trying to fit our knowledge, programs and skillsets to athletes and sport. We are athletes and sportspeople first and foremost.
Our number 1 goal is NOT to get our athletes performing their best “in the gym” but rather to get them performing their best “ON THE PLAYING FIELD, COME GAME DAY” - there is a big difference.
Our methodology and programs have been created accordingly over the past 2 decades. Yes, we have been patient - it has been important to do this properly and provide THE BEST.
Most gyms and coaches will make it a priority to get you better at “gym exercises” - our priority is to get you moving better, quicker and become stronger and more powerful in ways specific to what is required in your sport.
You want to be strong as you attack the rebound, you want the power to wrestle your way through traffic as you take possession.
You want to have the acceleration and ability to quickly change direction as you chase your opponent down.
You want to catch the opposition off guard as you adjust your tempo multiple times to set up another attack.
It’s irrelevant how much you can deadlift if you cross the line first.
No one asks what your bench press range is after you’ve kicked your 5th goal.
